Affiliate Marketing Systems – Writing Articles Designed For Boatloads Of Traffic!
Lots of people are looking for ways to help out the budget in these tight economic times, and end up searching online for ways to make some extra spending money. Writing articles for affiliate marketing is one of the ways that you can greatly improve your financial picture without having a rich uncle pass away and leave you in his will.
Written articles should be targeted to specific long-tail key phrases in order to appear on the first page of Google – and it is essential that you target long-tail key phrases that are searched for enough to drive a large amount of traffic, yet non-competitive enough to end up on the first page or two of Google.
This is a delicate balance, but can be done easily if you know how to go about it. Using Google’s keyword tool can select the keyword phrases you need – and will also tell you how many searches are conducted for that phrase each month. Selecting phrases that have no less than 100 searches every day will be the most valuable to you. Simply doing a search on the selected phrase will show how many different websites show up for that phrase – and anything less than 1 million is worth targeting. If you can find phrases that have less than 1,000 competing webpages, yet has over 100 searches every day – you’ve struck oil.
Now – here’s a trick that you’ll not often see – if you want to find out how many web pages are optimizing their website for your preferred long-tail keyword phrase, simply type intitle:"keyword phrase" – but be cautious – Google will advise you something like this:

But if you’re in the know, you’ll go to the end of the page, and click over to the last search result page… where you’ll get a much more precise result – and often it will be drastically different… here’s the end result for the same search listed above:

Rather a colossal discrepancy, wouldn’t you say? So be vigilant – if you don’t view the ending page, you may bypass a perfectly profitable long-tail keyword phrase that you imagined has too much competition.
Writing articles to send many visitors to the affiliate sales page of your choice will normally result in sales of up to 3% or more. For every 100 people you drive to a sales landing page, you normally will be able to pick up 3 sales. If you end up with less than a three percent sales rate – you’ve chosen the wrong affiliate program to promote, or your keywords are poorly chosen.
If you’d like to earn full-time income for part-time work, affiliate marketing is one of the few places where you can actually do this.
