Getting massive traffic, even highly-targeted traffic, will not always result in massive sales. In this article I will show you how I have taken Craig’s technique and super-charged it to create cash a crunching machine that can raid the Internet for incredible profits.

As way of an introduction, Craig Beckta’s Secret Affiliate Code and Secret Affiliate Code 2 both contain powerful techniques for driving huge amounts of traffic to your sites or blogs. I consider myself on of the premier SAC students because I have had such amazing success with them.

I have used Craig’s techniques to not only get #1 rankings for competitive keywords on the SERPs, but to literally dominate the first 2-3 pages with my feeder sites. (I use the term feeder sites for things such as videos, articles, forum postings, etc. that I use to drive traffic to my money pages).

The Secret Affiliate Code 2 teaches how to create and use these feeders to create a link juice for your main money pages. But here is the lesson for today: Getting top listings in the SERPs means absolutely nothing if your money pages don’t properly funnel your traffic into the publisher’s sales page for the product you are promoting.

Here is the main problem and stumbling block for Secret Affiliate Code 2 students: Don’t try to over-sell on your money pages! Craig’s techniques will, without a doubt, drive traffic to your money pages. But your single goal on these pages is to get the visitor to click on your link (to set the cookie with your affiliate ID embedded) to go to the publisher’s sales page!

Remember, during Day 1 through Day 7 of a product launch people have received countless emails from the top dogs in affiliate marketing related to the product. For a major launch, the guys with 100,000 names on their lists have "hit the button" and emailed their lists with hype about the product. That’s what creates the big initial buzz!

What you are trying to do with Craig’s system is to leech off that buzz. Only a small percentage of people who get the emails from the big JV partners will buy directly from the link in the promotional emails they receive. Most will go to Google, YaHoo, or MSN and search for review sites to get collaboration on what the emails present.

So your goal using the Secret Affiliate Code 2 blueprint is to position your money pages right in front of the massive amount of traffic hitting the search engines looking for more info on the product at hand. Remember, by the time these visitors get to your money page, a good percentage of these visitors have already committed 90% to the fact that they will buy the product. Many have credit card in hand.

The number one mistake affiliates make at this point is to try to do too much selling on their money pages! That is not their job at all! Look, the author of a new ebook, one destined to make it to the top of say Clickbank charts, may have spent $5,000 to have a top copywriter create a wickedly powerful sales page for his product. It will be much more powerful than one you can write. So don’t try to do what the product developer can do so much better than you–don’t try to outsell his sales page!

Too many affiliates create huge money pages trying to detail the benefits of the product they promote. This is totally unnecessary! A great sales page already exists. All you need to do to direct traffic to that page. So keep your money pages short.

Having the second best bonus on your money page doesn’t mean you will make almost as much as the guy with the very best bonus–you won’t even come close! In promoting new product launches there is the super-affiliate with the best bonuses on their money page–and there is everyone else. The guy with the best bonus eats the rib-eye steak and the others get the table scraps! End of story.
